[Pt. II – Proj. 1] ~ Exercise – The twentieth century symphony- Carl Nielsen short biography
Carl August Nielsen ( 9 June 1865 – 3 October 1931) is a Danish composer, who although well known in Denmark, only became internationally recognised after Leonard Bernstein recorded his 5th Symphony in 1962. Nielsen’s Symphony no 5, Op 50. is a perfect example of the unique style in it’s use of percussion and Modernist form of Nielsen’s compositions.
