Overall Comments and Feed Forward.
This was an excellent submission. Particular strengths include the depth and variety of research, the ability to identify key arguments and to express these clearly. The blog is at its best when it marries analytical listening skills with research and personal reflection though wider engagement with living composers and historical repertoire would be ideal. The writing style is very engaging and arguments are made particularly cogently. However, the presentation of musical examples
could be improved. The need to develop musical notation reading skills emerges at some points so to develop these as a matter of priority will help you gain the most from future courses. Overall this was an impressive submission – Bravissimo!
